Review of The Man with the Golden Gun (1974) by Phil D — 22 Oct 2008
This is one where the performances outdo a lack of plot.
Moore takes a backseat as Christopher Lee emerges as Francisco Scaramanga-the world's greatest assassin.
And that's about it...Britt Ekland and Maud Adams both failed to wow me as their respective Bond girls. But more hilarity ensues with another boat chase and a car chase with J.W. Pepper along for the ride again.
