Review of The Man with the Golden Gun (1974) by Aleksandra N — 02 Dec 2008
Good, stupid fun. The camp is pretty prominent, but doesn't detract from the film. It's not great, but aside from a few minor complaints it was quite entertaining. The car chase was good fun, and the car flip is spectacular considering it's authentic.
However, the coolness of it is sort of ruined due to the stupid slide flute in the background. On a side note, the return of the sheriff is somewhat disheartening, but luckily he's not quite as annoying as before.
I also found Christopher Lee to be a particularly good villain as well. Of all the Bond films, it's not the best, but it's nowhere near the worst.
