Review of The Man with the Golden Gun (1974) by Kevin H — 06 Apr 2009
Another very weak entry in the James Bond series, The Man With The Golden Gun wastes an excellent premise and a great performance by Christopher Lee. Moore's second effort is a zany tribute to sight gags, kazoo music and midgets (sorry Herve).
Britt Ekland is perhaps the most braindead Bond girl ever and some of the scenes in this film are quite stupid, including Scaramanga's sad elephant story and the entire kung-fu class.
