Review of The Man with the Golden Gun (1974) by Ruhan R — 27 Jun 2011
The first time I saw Roger Moore as bond, and I can't say I was all that impressed. I've only seen Brosnan and Connery play the role as well, and I think that they were both better than Moore. The plot was as typical as the Bond plots come.
Wealthy criminal mastermind with some diabolical device in his possession and 007 has to put him outta action. Complete with hot bond girls, luxurious sets and a quirky sidekick, this film was loyal to the James Bond conventions.
Overall it was a decent watch but not one of the stand-out titles.
