Review of The Man with the Golden Gun (1974) by Matthew B — 25 Sep 2014

I think Moore was more settled in as Bond this time out (as opposed to Live and Let Die), but overall, not much happens in this movie. At first I thought the 'cameo' of Sheriff J.W. Pepper was a humorous thing and nice nod to the continuity of the series, but when he showed up again and actually played a role, I felt it was unnecessary.

I disagree with the real critics who did not appreciate the humor, because I feel it is subtle enough. Still, the plot could have been better.
