Review of The Man with the Golden Gun (1974) by Senor C — 30 Jun 2011
Roger Moore's 2nd outing as 007 he still hasn't found his footing. Although not his best in the role it is watchable mostly do to the casting of Christopher Lee but I think he deserves a better villianous role.
I just sorta found this one to be rather lackluster & was really making me miss Connery. Im not sure if I enjoyed Herve Villechaize in this or not. He's just not a menacing enough midget & I kept waiting for him to say 'da plane! da plane!' & Ricardo Montalban show up.
This even takes place on an island. Worth checking out for fans of Lee who just want to see him in a Bond movie.
