As good as Christopher Lee is as the villain here and as effectively as Moore continues to play Bond, there is just not enough periferally for this film to be liked. The story is quite lacking as for most of the film I kept consciously asking myself what exactly is going on here.
The female spy matched with Bond is close to matching Denise Richards as the worst of Bond's girls as she is nowhere near smart enough to be Bond's equal and plays herself as quite a bimbo, when you come right down to it.
And the Sheriff from Live and Let Die... why in God's name would they bring him back???
