Roger Moore's portrayal of James Bond were always very cheesy and somewhat goofy. The Man With The Golden Gun doesn't disappoint. There are so many bizarre things that happen in this film that you may think your watching a comedy.
Francisco Scaramanga (Chrisopher Lee) is a hit man with the perfect shot. James Bond is sent in to take him out, but there's more to the story including finding the secret piece to a solar array and a bunch of other shit that makes no sense whatsoever.
The movie is so far off from the book its really hard to believe that they even tried to adapt it at all from Ian Flemmings original novel. New character Knick Knack was a joy though, albeit a bit too funny sometimes.
In my opinion this movie has one of the worst Bond girls ever. Mary Goodnight is a total ditz and I found myself hoping she'd be killed throughout the film.
Effects were super cheesy with such highlights as a flying car, third nipples and a scene straight from the dukes of hazzards! This film is for fans only! Give it a rent at the most!
