Review of The Man with the Golden Gun (1974) by John W — 18 Feb 2013
The sequel to the decently badass Live and Let Die is annoyingly torturous. James Bond is now heading off to the Far East where he meets his latest villain named Scaramanga played by Christopher Lee along with his dwarf sidekick named Nick Nack who are searching for a solar energy weapon.
Along with 007 is Mary Goodnight whose clumsy efforts helps to thwart out Scaramanga's evil plans. can Bond defeat the bad guy or can the bad guy's practice of killing defeat Bond? The action wasn't that creatively impressive, there was a huge lacking of important elements that the franchise should have had and there was a chase scene involving a fucking comic relief guy- Why comic relief in a James Bond film? It's almost as bad as everyone says so.
The Man with the Golden Gun gets a 6/10.
