Review of The Man with the Golden Arm (1955) by Hossein N — 03 Aug 2009
Sinatra delivers a powerhouse performance in this very interesting effort from Preminger. Great black and white cinematography and a jazzy score also add to the film, and it gets bonus points for dealing with (at the time) taboo subject matter.
