Review of The Man with One Red Shoe (1985) by Alex L — 27 Sep 2009
In continuation of my goal to watch every Tom Hanks movie, I had to check out this very early film showing his acting chops. He is his usual dopey self with a little bit of more zing with the ladies. It's interesting to see him being swooned by two women, including one that every guy has had some fantasy of, in some shape or form: Princess Leia.
The plot is sub par with the predictable events that will occur from a federal crime investigating a potential terrorist like Hanks, who is completely oblivious to his actions. I'd say that this is for the real Hanks fanatic who can't get enough of his younger days, otherwise there isn't much.
