Review of The Man Whose Mind Exploded (2014) by Robert R — 23 Oct 2013
The Man Whose Mind Exploded is a wonderful film. I was lucky to see it a few weeks back at a screening at the BFI. It is a very moving and brave film. It had all the things I want to see in a documentary, those being insight into the mind of the subject love, light, darkness, joy, and humour.
I hope that this film is seen by as many people as possible as it it a great record of a man' s life and of a friendship beetween the film maker and the subject. At times the film is sad and upsetting but then the playfullness of the interaction between the two people on this journey comes out.
Best documenty of watched in 2013.
