Review of The Man Who Would Be King (1975) by Ted H — 06 Jul 2007
Two scoundrels go to war with Afghanistan on false pretenses. The racism doesn't date it very well, and that context makes it damn uncomfortable. Fortunately, there's breathtaking spectacle and stirring adventure, so everything is all right (as long as you're not from India).
