Based on a Kipling tale of the same name, this well played jaunt entertains while touching on the sins of power and colonialism. Connery, Caine and Plummer are perfectly cast; the scenery and cinematography are stunning; and the story is engaging.
This is another of my father-in-law's wonderful recommendations. It contains some wonderful lines/scenes. I think the main actors carry it off extremely well. Ultimately, this movie is a lot of fun and worth having in the DVD collection.
