Review of The Man Who Wasn't There (2001) by Black R — 13 Aug 2011
The Man Who Wasn't There was one of the most strangest I've seen from the Coen brothers, but the most unique and beautifully directed movie as well. A well done film noir that dignifies as one of those melancholy and distinctive films that keeps us on the screen.
Billy Bob Thornton does a wonderful job playing a gloomy, but staggering role of a barber named Ed Crane, that stands alone from all the rest, and sees the world differently. Its not the most well known from the Coens, but sure stands out from all the rest.
