Review of The Man Who Wasn't There (2001) by Graham L — 21 Feb 2008
This certainly isn't a Coen masterpiece, but we get the sense that it's a very personal project for Ethan and Joel, a love letter to 1940s film noir and pulp fiction. Lots of strange, deadpan characters and a typically complex script.
