The Coens' tribute to classic film-noir with fine performances all around including a young Scarlett Johansson and a mean James Gandolfini! Billy Bob Thornton is ok, but could've done better or maybe another lead in the role, but still good enough.
. Strong musical score with some fine directing and pacing. My only complaint was that there was not enough screentime for Gandolfini and that whole 1950s alien theme which felt a bit added on..
