Review of The Man Who Wasn't There (2001) by Ted B — 31 Aug 2013
I expected more from this film, although it did have beautiful black and white cinematography and good performances. However, the humor the critics talked about was sadly lacking, the plot had a major flaw (why didn't Big Dave search for the money that the police found in the water logged car if it was so easily found or ask Tolliver for it?), and it was just too darn slow.
The part about Scarlett Johansson and the piano didn't seem to fit the plot either and made the film even longer and slower. Not the best effort from the Cohen Brothers.
