Review of The Man Who Understood Women (1959) by Marilee A — 09 Nov 2011
I Loved this Movie about Neglected Movie Star Wife(Leslie Caron), Unrequited Love to her Husband(Henry Fonda) who is obsessed with her career & neglects her. She finds Love in the Arms of another Frenchman (Cesare Danova) & runs away with him.
,Willie(Fonda) goes into a Jealous Rage, Parties to the Extreme to divert his pain. Then hire's really Silly Assassins,he then changes his mind & tries to save his wife from the Assassins who decide the Love Birds should both be killed because they seem so in love.
The older Assassin never speaks, it's very Ironic. I loved this Movie as its a Dramedy about Jealousy, & Finding out that you actually love the Spouse you're married to.Leslie Caron is a Favorite Actress of mine.
This is a unique Love Story.
