Review of The Man Who Sued God (2001) by Ryan H — 30 Jun 2008
Billy Connolly owns this film, which is a feat more easily done than the title would suggest. Despite the theological implications of a direct legal attack on the Almighty, it doesn't hold up and collapses in the third act, as Connolly's Steve has to accept a victory that is almost as pyrrhic as it is moral.
Entertaining but uneven.
