Review of The Man Who Sued God (2001) by Terri H — 22 Dec 2008
The premise of this movie is its saving grace. Between the mediocre acting, the abysmal musical score and the feel of a quickly thrown together true-story moneymaker on lifetime, I was left feeling that this movie was carried by the premise alone.
The love story bits seemed awkward and invasive to the witty argument that the film made. The conclusion of this movie was a bit hokey for my tastes. I wont likely watch it again, but I have little doubt that some of the philosophical points made in the film will enter my mind at some later date.
Overall, it was enjoyable... 3-3.5 stars.
