Review of The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance (1962) by Deering R — 07 Feb 2008
The best western I've seen from the classic era, when the genre was right on the brink of being reinvented with revisionist and spaghetti westerns. A fantastic story, with just the kind fo acting and characters you'd expect from James Stewart and John Wayne, and the refinement of the genre that you'd expect from the master ford att he end of the era.
