Review of The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance (1962) by Matt B — 09 Feb 2008
This film is good even for people who don't like Westerns. It just has more substance than most westerns. James Stewart is great in this film, and John Wayne plays kind of a gruff "good" guy who doesn't get the girl, and suffers silently because of it.
Even if you don't like John Wayne, or Westerns, this film has so much to offer, and is so well made that it is well worth checking out.
