Review of The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance (1962) by Jason D — 14 Jul 2008
I've never seen this movie, but I know that it was the template that Kurtis Blow used for his remake of Monty Python's LIfe of Brian. Kurtis enlisted several premier writers who comprised the Salt Lake City film scene and delivered a tour de force.
His technique of splicing the actual dailies of the original film into his own vacation footage surpasses any unmeasured risk assumed by the film makers of the middle late 1980s.
