An absolute classic with Jimmy Stewart, John Wayne, and Lee Marvin this is a Western that goes beyond being a classic. With Stewart and the Duke it would be extremely difficult to balance the star power but both play off one another evenly.
Lee Marvin just might be the greatest Villain in the history of Westerns. If this movie was any better perhaps it would be over-rated yet personally I think that's impossible!
