Review of The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance (1962) by Aj S — 08 Jun 2009
A GREAT Western, maybe because it's one of the most unconventional Westerns out there. The main character of the movie would be mostly considered a secondary character in the film, while the cowboy himself is just second.
The film is non-linear, which we don't see in a Western, it's one giant flashback. Plus, Jimmy Stewart and John Wayne together on screen is a great match. The movie does tend to be slow at a few parts, but still, it makes up for the great story and characters.
