Review of The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance (1962) by George R — 19 May 2010
One of the best movies I've seen. The rule of law and brute force, as typified by the characters played by Jimmy Stewart and John Wayne, experience tension and cooperation as they war with Western evil.
It's a terrific story, both on the level of individual characters and the larger themes the movie addresses.
