Review of The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance (1962) by C H — 26 Mar 2013
I could watch this movie every day. It definitely wants watching more than once so that the events at the beginning of the movie become easier to understand and, as they do, they become more poignant. Wayne is in the movie less than Stewart, but his persona overwhelms that of Stewart.
Marvin is excellent as the villain. The scene in the restaurant 'That's my steak Valance - you pick it up' is one of the true highlights of any movie.
