Review of The Man Who Knew Too Much (1934) by Shelly — 19 May 2008
After finally seeing the remake today and seeing this version at least a dozen times; this version blows the other completely out of the water. The only good point of this entire movie is Peter Lorre's villain Abbott.
he is probably one of the greatest villians of all time. He mixes just the right about of menace and emotion to create a bad guy you can really learn to love. its a shame hitch had to remake this one.
don't even bother with the 1956 version.
