Review of The Man Who Knew Too Much (1934) by Hannah M — 31 Oct 2008
Cinematographically not as excellent as the usual Hitchcock, but it has all the usual glorious Alfred-y elements, that are manifested later in his own 56 version of this. It's his first international film, though v.
British, and very indicative of his feel for suspense and story even this early in his career. Also, Peter Lorre is welcomed to the American film industry by being given the worst hairstyle in the history of ever.
