Review of The Man Who Knew Infinity (2016) by Jeremy I — 04 May 2016
Based on true events, this film follows the emotional journey of a young, uneducated and poor man in pre-WWI Madras whose talent with numbers and obsession with mathematics was unmatched in his homeland.
Finally, with the help of his employers he was able to get in contact with the Fellows at Cambridge who brought him there to work together. Things don't go smoothly of course but what we see is the journey of the collaborators and their fight against discrimination and let their maths do the talking.
