Well-cast, well-acted, beautiful to look it. Thin on story, but sumptuous in execution, this most-biographical tale is quite enjoyable. Dan Stevens is engaging as Charles Dickens who only has six weeks to write and delivery "A Christmas Carol" if he wants it out in time for the holidays.
Christopher Plummer IS Ebenezer Scrooge - the perfect personification. The direction is handled with a deft hand and the cinematography and lighting is quite impressive. Don't miss this lovely film.
