When did you last see a movie about the writing of a novel (if ever!)? The movie tells the story of Charles Dickens having the inspiration to write Christmas Carol. He needed a "hit" for personal and financial reasons and this novel would do just that.
The cast is Brits you know from television (Charles Dickens was Matthew on Downton Abbey.) The movie was very enjoyable about a long ago world.
