Review of The Man Who Haunted Himself (1970) by Niels S — 26 May 2017
Three stars simply because I think it is Roger Moore's finest dramatic role. Following a car accident, a man is shadowed by his more sinister doppleganger. It is not a spectacular film by any means but the Jeckyll and Hyde duality of persona is handled very convincingly by Moore.
The actor of course, went on to become the James Bond of the 70s and is still the most suave incarnation of the superspy. If only he had done more films like this though. His dramatic chops would have been better appreciated.
