Review of The Man Who Fell to Earth (1976) by Alex M — 21 Dec 2008
I wanted to like this movie, I really did. But I just couldn't get into it at all. I've never cared for the films of the 60s and 70s in general and I think this film helps ensure that I never will.
The underlying plot of the film was interesting but the execution was poor in my opinion. The lighting was horrible, the image quality was poor (I think they had a bad lens most of the time) and the sound fluctuated from loud to super soft all the time.
