Review of The Man Who Fell to Earth (1976) by Adam P — 22 Oct 2011
Delightfully odd and mostly incomprehensible. The performances are delicious and the pacing is subtly suspenseful. The highlight, however, is my love God David Bowie's breathtaking hollow beauty. His pale skin, his orange hair, his emaciated frame, his damaged eyes, his crooked teeth, his impossibly high cheekbones: he's like the alien version of a runway model.
I promised myself that the day I got to see David Bowie's penis would be the day I retire from life. And lo and behold, as of this writing, I am dead.
