Visually stunning observations of human culture and artistic to a fault. Bowie is great as the alien with his distant attitude and outlandish fashion, and the other actors are good in their roles. Overall, the film is good, but the obscure plot and slow pacing require patience to understand, and I'm not sure if the wait is worth it in the end.
