Maybe not the best but certainly my favourite of the Ealing comedies. It's hilarious, Guinness is on top form as the idealistic and hopelessly naive scientist and its themes of selflessness vs selfishness and the big impact of small actions are as relevant today as 50 years ago.
Brilliant.
