Joan Greenwood was pretty much at her prime in this one - that voice! This film combines science fiction, social satire, romance, intrigue, action, suspense and strange sound effects. Alec Guiness is at the top of his game.
You won't find a more uniquely entertaining film than this. You owe it to yourself to see it.
