Review of The Man in the White Suit (1951) by Kaonashi ( — 14 Jun 2007
A absolute favorite of mine! Alec Guiness is fantastic in the lead role of Sidney Stratton. Sidney Stratton has been trying to develop a new type of fabric, one that can't be ripped, torn, or soiled.
He has been taking menial jobs at local textile plants just so he can sneak into the laboratories and have access to the better equipment they have. Sidney eventually succeeds in his creation, but not to what he thinks is the open arms of the textile industry.
You have to check out and see for yourself what happens next. Again one of my favorites. You will not be disappointed.
