Review of The Man in the Moon (1991) by Jacqueline F — 04 Jul 2007
A well-made poignant movie about first love. I knew there was a tragedy involved, but even so, I loved watching how Reese's character blossomed. She was a great actor even at that young age. Sam Waterston is also good as the father, which is no surprise.
I really liked this movie (although I thought the Mom, as a churgoing woman, would've told her daughters to pray to God instead of talking to the man in the moon!).
