A coming of age drama starring a youthful Reese Witherspoon showing at a young age how talented she is. She plays a lonely girl who becomes besotted with a boy who is in love with her older sister. With a tragic finale, this film is engaging and very watchable, even if there are a few sickly sweet moments.
