Review of The Man in the Moon (1991) by Natalie F — 28 Mar 2010
One of the saddest, but most relatable films I've personally seen. It's a classic in my mind. A truthful portrayal of life as an adolescent and life in general, particularly understanding love and death.
It's not exactly uplifting, but I wouldn't call it depressing, though it is tragic. There is a very beautiful quality to this film that's well-balanced and memorable.
