Review of The Man from U.N.C.L.E. (2015) by Ian W — 28 Oct 2015
Disappointing Guy Ritchie film, and a barely above average action/spy flick. Inbetween the mostly mediocre action scenes, which are too few and far apart, we have some pretty funny jokes and dialogue exchanges that the movie benefits from.
Other than the stylish finesse of Ritchie, and some of the writing there is very little to like. A great climactic action sequence is sorely lacking in the last part of the movie, it just consists of a clumsily put together montage, and a chase scene involving people with different vehicles catching up with other people, rather than some one-on-one fight or anything of the sort.
Watch it if you're bored, it ain't shit.
