Review of The Man from U.N.C.L.E. (2015) by Johnny A — 25 Nov 2015
The only good thing about this is the lighthearted feel and chemistry between Henry Cavill and Armie Hammer. They were really great working together.
Everything else was meh, even the action, which is a surprise since this should be classic Guy Ritchie and he should be knocking it out the park.
The moment Hugh Grant came into the picture and the reveal came, it lost all momentum and became a weird parody of itself. It's not the type of movie you take seriously but all suspension of disbelief went out the window at that particular moment. The story which was ok just went stupid in such a short time.
