Review of The Man from U.N.C.L.E. (2015) by Fabian J — 01 Dec 2015
It's rather underplayed and even under powered none the less when her adds 'flash' and takes a risk or two it comes alive most amusingly. The two leads Henry Cavill and Armie Hammer work their differences well and Alicia Vikander, a dead ringer for Susan Penhaligan, provides some delightful eye candy.
Although in a minor role Hugh Grant also provides solid support as a surprisingly good Waverly. As an introduction to a potential franchise, Guy Ritchie holds enough back and yet tantalisingly hints at what could be achieved should the studio stump up the cash for a second outing.
