Everyone is playing their parts well, and Ritchie gets a nice sixties style vibe going, but somehow this film just misfires. Perhaps it was the times when the fun frivolous swinging sixties got a bit too dark, or there was too much style without the substance to back it up.
Or that the whole film felt like it had its eyes on sequels and franchise instead of making sure this one knocked it out of the park. Just not memorable enough for me.
