Review of The Man from U.N.C.L.E. (2015) by Ron M — 02 Aug 2016
SO disappointed in this. I was really hoping for a fun spy-thriller, like the Moore-era James Bond movies. And I got that for about the first half-hour. After that, however, the script just seemed to wander aimlessly without any clear direction or motivation or urgency.
Henry Cavill was charming and witty as Solo (and please, let him bring that charm and wit to his Superman!) and Armie Hammer was perfectly deadpan as his mis-matched partner, Illya Kuryakin.
