Well, watching it at night just set the mood perfectly for this type of film, and it had a nice quality to it. Unfortunately, it is underwhelming, and have never heard of, or watched the tv series while growing up. Can't imagine how this compares to the show, and I'm in no mood to check it out! There's nothing really different from any other spy film than this one tries to be, because I've seen it in the past 007 films!

Where to begin? First off, Henry Cavill was a total douchebag! He always gets what he wants, and doesn't show that much concern for the other characters. Him and Armie Hammer have no chemistry while trying to come off as friends and partners. Secondly, the female lead, Gaby Teller, is hot, but her personality makes as much sense as princess Anna from Van Helsing! The woman was almost made into a walking movie cliche, flip flopping between helping our two main characters, and working secretly with the villian. It almost feels like the screenwriters crashed into a dead end with Alicia Vikanders character, and decided to rip off the same plot twist from Mission Impossible......(sign!) You know? You didn't have to take the easy way out with her fellas, you needed a better writer for crying out loud! Maybe it's just me, but it feels like Guy Ritchie focused more on the casts looks rather than trying the least bit to build them up and develop these people as characters! I hate it when certain filmaker's do that! You must try to make us give a damn instead of drooling over their appearances, I mean, c'mon! And the villainess of the show? LOL! What about her!? Totally weak! You didn't have to turn her into a dumbass on purpose only to make Napoleon the hero in the end, because that's considered lazy writing! Even the action was underwhelming! This was kinda boring, and didn't care for the characters that much! At the end of the day, wanted to like it, but, just disappointing. Is it even a wonder why this feature bombed at the box office this past summer!?
