Review of The Man from U.N.C.L.E. (2015) by Jim M — 03 Jul 2017
This movie is amazingly fun. Even more so, if you imagine Henry Cavill playing Sterling Archer rather than Napoleon Solo. HE is the perfect live-action Archer. Elizabeth Debicki is perfect as the primary villain, and since all action movies are graded by their villain, that gives the movie a much more than passing grade.
Hammer Russian accent is hit and miss, but at least he's pretty to look at. Plus the score is spot on. I don't know (and don't care) why the critics were so down on this film.
